Privacy Statement
Last updated 5 November 2026
Teamingful and the eventPro beta are run by Medeolinx LLC ("Medeolinx", "we", "us"). This statement explains what we collect when you use teamingful.com, your Teamingful account and the eventPro beta at event.teamingful.com (together, the "Services"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
The short version
- We don't sell or rent your personal information.
- If you use a free account, we monitor how you use the Services to find problems and improve quality.
- We may use, share or sell de-identified information that can't reasonably be linked to you. It never includes what you create, your Google account information, data from services you connect, or details about people you add or invite.
- Your content is yours. We don't use it to train AI models.
- You can see, export and delete your information.
1. What we collect
From Google when you sign in
Your name, email address, profile picture and Google account ID. We ask Google only for basic profile and email access. We don't receive your Google password, and signing in doesn't give us access to your Gmail, Drive or other Google data.
Your invitation
During the beta, eventPro accounts are by invitation only. We record the invitation code you used, who invited you and when, and the codes you create and who used them. Together these records form an invitation network that our administrators can see.
Content you create
What you put into the Services, such as captures (notes, photos, voice recordings, files and their transcripts), people cards, projects, teams, comments and the invitations or messages you send. It also includes issue reports you send from the app, with any screenshot you attach.
Information about other people
Names, organizations and contact details of people you add to a people card or a team, or invite. Please add only information you have the right to share.
Services you connect
If you connect a service such as Box, Notion, Asana, LinkedIn or GitHub, we receive what that connection allows, such as folder names and the people who share them. We keep the connection's access tokens encrypted on our servers. Teamingful does not connect to your Gmail. We'll update this statement before any new kind of connection becomes available.
How you use the Services
Pages and features you use, actions you take, times, errors and performance, your IP address, browser and device type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. This comes from server logs, error reports and, for free accounts, product analytics.
On your device
Your browser keeps your sign-in session in local storage. The eventPro app keeps captures on your device until they upload, so it works offline. We don't use advertising cookies.
2. How we use it
- To provide, run and secure the Services: signing you in, checking invitations, storing and syncing your content, suggesting teams and sending invitations you ask for.
- To run AI features you use, such as transcribing, summarizing and suggesting teams, with the AI and speech-to-text providers listed in section 5.
- To monitor and improve quality, as described in section 3.
- To contact you about your account, security, changes to the Services and, unless you opt out, product news.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, keep the invitation network healthy, comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Service.
- To create de-identified information, as described in section 4.
3. Free accounts are monitored for quality
If you use the Services without a paid subscription, including the eventPro beta, you agree that we may monitor how you use them so we can find problems and improve quality. This includes which pages, features and buttons you use, how long tasks take, and errors and crashes, and it may use analytics tools that record these interactions. Monitoring covers how you use the Services, not the content of your captures, notes, recordings or files, unless you send content to us, for example in a support request.
4. De-identified information
We may turn usage information into de-identified or aggregate information that can't reasonably be used to identify you or your device. We may use it for any lawful purpose, including research, product development, advertising and marketing, and we may share, license or sell it to third parties. When we do:
- We take reasonable technical measures so it can't be linked back to you.
- We commit, here, to keep it in de-identified form and not to try to re-identify it.
- We require anyone who receives it, by contract, not to try to re-identify it.
De-identified information never includes, in any form: content you create; information we receive from Google; information from services you connect; details about people you add; or who invited whom.
5. How we share personal information
We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only in these cases:
- Service providers who process it for us under contract and may use it only to provide their service to us: Supabase (database, file storage and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI), a speech-to-text provider (transcription), Resend (email), Sentry (error reports, which don't include your content), GitHub (our private issue tracker, which holds issue reports you send), Google (sign-in, and web fonts that load from Google's servers) and jsDelivr (delivers code to your browser).
- People you choose: members and guests of teams you share with, and people you invite. The person who invited you can see that you joined with their invitation.
- Services you connect, when you send something to them, such as a file to Box or a post to LinkedIn. Anything public or sent to someone waits for your OK.
- Legal and safety: to comply with the law or a valid legal request, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property or safety of anyone.
- Business transfers: if Medeolinx is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of it, and this statement will continue to apply to it.
- With your consent.
6. Information from Google
Teamingful's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use your Google name, email address and profile picture only to sign you in, show you to your teammates and contact you about the Services. We never sell it, use it for advertising or include it in de-identified information.
7. AI and your content
Your content is yours. We don't use it to train generative AI models, and our agreements with our AI providers don't allow them to train on it. AI features process your content only to provide the feature to you.
8. How long we keep it
We keep personal information while your account is open and as long as we need it to provide the Services. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information and content within 30 days, including from backups, except what the law requires us to keep or what we need to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or enforce our terms. If you sign in but never redeem an invitation, we delete your account information within 30 days. Items you shared with a team stay with that team. Data already sent to your own Box, Notion or Asana stays under your control there. Invitation records may be kept, with your details removed, so the invitation network stays intact. De-identified information may be kept indefinitely.
9. Security
We encrypt information in transit, encrypt connection tokens at rest, keep each account's private items separate at the database level, and limit who at Medeolinx can access personal information. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
10. Your choices and rights
- See, correct and export your information in the app, or by emailing us.
- Delete your account in eventPro's account settings, or by emailing us.
- Disconnect a connected service at any time.
- Unsubscribe from product news with the link in any of those emails.
Depending on where you live, including California and other US states, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, you may have the right to know, access, correct, delete or port your personal information, to object to or restrict some uses, and to appeal our decision on a request. We don't sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. We won't treat you differently for using your rights. To make a request, email privacy@teamingful.com. We'll verify your identity and answer within the time the law requires.
If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on these legal bases: performing our contract with you; our legitimate interests in running, securing and improving the Services, including quality monitoring and creating de-identified information; your consent where the law requires it; and our legal obligations. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
11. Where we process information
Medeolinx and our service providers process information in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
12. Children
The Services are for people 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we'll delete it.
13. Changes to this statement
We'll post changes on this page and update the date above. If a change is material, we'll tell you by email or in the Services before it takes effect.
